Riverstar Vineyards is truly family owned and operated, stemming from a dream that turned into reality after years of visiting the existing Riverstar tasting room. Owners Rob and Angela Reinertson took over the vineyard and winery in 2016 from the Dutton family, who planted vines onsite in 1993 and built the winery in 2001. Some of those vines are still used to produce our wines today. We replanted 22 acres in 2021 with new varieties all in their own roots, which will be hand- picked and crushed here to create new wines for Riverstar. One of the daughters, Candice, runs the day-to-day operations as general manager and assistant winemaker. You'll meet Candice or Angela pouring wines in the tasting room, or cross paths with Rob maintaining the property or handling things behind the scenes. Their daughter Christine is the creative one who helps plan events and pours in the tasting room on occasion. One son-in-law, Nick, is the technology expert, providing support for anything internet-related; the other son-in-law, Kyle, is the local chef, often creating the food for wine pairings and events. We all love working together to make Riverstar a warm and welcoming place for you to spend the day (or weekend) with your family and friends. Come out and meet the family!
