In 1993, Riverstar Vineyards was planted with three varietals: Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Merlot, all planted on their own root in the loamy sand and gravel soils along the southern facing slopes of the Estrella River. In the vineyard today, we grow Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon. We will be replanting 20 acres of the vineyard in spring 2021, with Zinfandel, Syrah, Petite Sirah, and Tempranillo. Future wines to look forward to!
We are growing and sourcing the best fruit possible and making the wine in a way which respects the fruit and creates rich, full bodied reds and crisp, clean whites. Dessert wine made with fortified Zinfandel. 18.8% abv. $18, Wine Club $14.40 Sweet raspberry & strawberry aromas. Light bodied berry flavor with a hint of coconut. Pairs with milk chocolate mousse like a dream.
